Welcome to my studio website! I teach flute at my home in SW Minneapolis to students from preschool through adult. My cozy home studio is located just off Hwy 62 and convenient for students in Minneapolis, Richfield, Edina, Eden Prairie and more! I am also on the faculty at MacPhail Center for Music. To find out more about my background and flute lessons, please read through the studio information and then reach out to schedule an observation or trial lesson. Please use the contact page to inquire about clinics/workshops or performances.

For the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, online lessons are available to all families. Please contact me for more information.

I’ve had the pleasure of taking lessons with Vanamali for 7 years and counting! She’s incredibly talented as both a flautist and a teacher, and has demonstrated great adaptability, empathy, and goal-setting for students of all ages.  Whatever your dreams are as a flautist, she will always be supportive and work with you to achieve them. I have nothing but the highest praise for Vanamali and her tutelage!
